This 18-month planner was designed to be both visually compelling and deeply purposeful, encouraging users to stay organized while engaging with meaningful, faith-centered content that separates it from an average planner. Custom monthly tabs highlight encouraging phrases and Bible verses, while a dedicated section on the “I Am” Statements of Christ adds a layer of spiritual reflection—creating a product that is as inspiring as it is functional.
The buyer requested a bold abstract design, which was different from their typical floral patterns. I began with more research on layouts, looking at patterns in our in-house resource and seeing how type could be incorporated without feeling overwhelming. I collaborated with the Team Leads and Coordinators on rounds of proofing to make sure color was balanced throughout and worked with the Production artist to trouble shoot the template in Indesign. This was a new planner that melded aspects and pages from other planner templates. The end result featured a bold abstract cover with gold foil accents. Striking a balance between modern style and elevated detail.
