Mardel offers a diverse range of in-store apparel collections, including NOTW, Rooted Soul, Paws and Praise, and more—each designed to reach a broad audience across men’s, women’s, children’s, baby, and even pet categories. Graphics are created to balance trend-forward aesthetics with meaningful, faith-driven messaging. Each design was thoughtfully crafted to resonate with its intended audience while maintaining brand consistency, resulting in versatile, engaging apparel that meets a wide range of customer needs.

I developed the designs below by starting with researching type styles and layouts that met the buyers request while also pushing the design to meet a trendier audience. When designing for apparel it’s a challenge designing with limited ink colors. The layout still needs to feel balanced and eye catching if it’s 1 or only 4 colors. Each idea was presented as a rough or refined sketch to the Team Lead and Coordinator to proof and provide feedback, which can go through multiple rounds before presenting to the client. Once the buyer selected the design the file was digitized and set-up to go through production pre-check before delivered to the vendor.
