Each year, Mardel offers a range of planners that thoughtfully integrate devotional content, setting them apart from traditional formats. For 2025, our team introduced a new planner structure built entirely from the ground up. This format was designed to provide more generous writing space within a slimmer profile—balancing functionality with a refined, streamlined feel—while maintaining the quality and meaningful content our customers expect.

After doing trend research we pitched the buyers several trends that could apply to our customers. Once the themes were selected, we set up art direction and a 6-month timeline that incorporated art development through final file delivery. Tab development started first to make sure the buyer liked the direction before applying to the rest of the planner content. Group proofings were included early on between Coord, TL and designer to make sure everyone was on the same page. Collaboration was key throughout this larger project to make sure new templates were set up to keep in line with the art development and not hold up progress. Other contribution teams helped proof read and check files for final production.
