Recognizing an opportunity to better serve both the business and its customers, our buyers initiated the development of an in-house stationery brand to replace vendor-produced products. This shift allowed for greater cost efficiency while creating a more tailored and cohesive product experience. Our team led the development of the brand identity and product line, grounding it in Mardel’s mission and thoughtfully integrating faith-forward messaging throughout.

Under this line, we developed multiple themes customers could purchase reflecting a variety of art styles on stationery products they would want to use at home or in their office. Each year our buyer adjusted product development based on customer feedback and vendor capabilities to make sure quality was obtained for customers. We would pitch concepts that felt current but traditional. From there a style guide was developed that coordinated with multiple support and focal patterns which would then be applied to product.
